In this totalitarian State, every aspect of private and public life is under strict control. Laws are oppressive, surveillance is pervasive, and privacy is a relic of the past. As the State-appointed manager of an apartment building, your job is to make it a comfortable home for your tenants. However, this role is merely a cover for your true mission.

Your primary duty is to SPY ON YOUR TENANTS! This involves covertly monitoring their activities, eavesdropping on their conversations, and installing BUGS in their apartments when they're away. You must SEARCH their belongings for any items that could threaten the State's authority and PROFILE them for your superiors. It's crucial to REPORT any tenant suspected of breaking the law or plotting against the State.

Beholder is all about making choices - choices that matter!

What will you do with the information you gather? Will you report a father's suspicious activities, potentially orphaning his children? Or will you keep silent about his illegal actions, giving him a chance to correct his course? You might even choose to blackmail him to secure the money your family desperately needs.
