To enjoy the fun-filled party game Chimparty on your PlayStation®4 system, you'll need the Chimparty companion app. As of December 14, 2023, there are important updates regarding the availability of companion apps for various PlayLink games, including Chimparty.

For Android users, if you've already downloaded the Chimparty companion app to your current device or if it's in your library, you can continue using it. However, note that the app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 9. If you're an iOS user, you can continue to play with the app regardless of your iOS version.

With the Chimparty companion app, you can challenge up to three friends and compete in 18 wacky party games across 90 levels. The game uses simple, intuitive one-button controls, turning your smartphone or tablet into a controller. It's a game that the whole family can enjoy, requiring skill, timing, and a bit of animal instinct to become the Ultimate Chimpion.

Explore five wild settings, from haunted castles with spooky ghosts to alien planets with crazy gravity, and even a pirate harbor filled with cannons and cutlasses. Customize your chimp with various outfits and accessories available in the app, and you can even play with your customized chimp on your friends’ PlayStation®4 systems.

Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device. Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing. The app allows you to access the chimp customization screen, save your customized chimp, and use a selfie as your chimp's in-game icon.

The Chimparty companion app supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.

PlayLink for PS4™ titles are designed for social gaming that everyone can enjoy.
