Halma, also known as Ugolki or куточки уголки, is a classic strategy board game. This offline game features a completely revamped AI (most recently updated July 2024).
Originally invented in 1883 or 1884 by Harvard Medical School surgeon George Howard Monks, Halma draws inspiration from the English game "Hoppity." The game is played on a checkered board with black and white pieces (two-player) or multiple colors (four-player), initially positioned in opposite corners. The objective: move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposing corner. Players move one piece at a time, either to an adjacent empty square or by jumping over one or more pieces.
