What Makes This App Special?

More than just its adorable aesthetics, this app is a robust tool for shogi enthusiasts of all levels. It's not just cute—it's a powerful platform for learning and mastering shogi.

  • Engage in two-player matches with a traditional knee-to-knee setup.
  • Use the review function to compare your moves with AI suggestions.
  • Benefit from the game record analysis function that automatically identifies bad or doubtful moves.
  • Access daily Tsume Shogi puzzles across four difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and graded.

Detailed Function Explanations

Challenge yourself against our authentic AI, which ranges across 40 levels suitable for beginners to advanced players. Visual guides make it easy for newcomers to understand piece movements, while the "Hint" button offers insights into good moves, complete with reading lines to enhance your understanding.

Not only can you watch games between players and AI, but you can also observe matches between AI opponents. Players can face off knee-to-knee, although communication games are not supported. You can change the AI during a game by entering examination mode and selecting "Resume game from this stage" from the menu.

Post-game analysis is key to improvement. Use the review function to see AI reading lines, your move's reading line, and situational evaluations. The game record analysis function automatically searches for and highlights bad moves, displaying the results graphically for easy comprehension. These analyses can be saved in game record files for future reference.

Save your game records against AI in files and manage them efficiently. Our app supports reading KIF, KI2, and CSA format game record files, and you can copy and paste records to the clipboard. Manage records from other apps and save them to various clouds like Google Drive and Dropbox. You can also create start phases and Tsume Shogi phases.
