Method

Our method for learning to read Spanish utilizes phonics, catering to children aged 3 to 6 or 7, and even adults looking to refine their pronunciation. The program is structured into a section dedicated to tracing letters and 30 lessons that progress from vowels to consonants and complex combinations such as L, M, S, T, P, N, D, F, H, C, Q, CH, G, GUE, R, -rr-, B, V, J, GE, GUE, Y, Z, CE, LL, X, K.

Each lesson is packed with 11 interactive games, available at two different levels of difficulty. This approach is perfect for parents and teachers seeking an effective way to practice and reinforce the initial syllables and words in Spanish. The key is to encourage the child to listen and engage with the exercises without the need to understand everything at once.

Learning to read is a gradual process that might extend over a year. We recommend daily practice sessions that are short and sweet, revisiting previously learned content, and adjusting the type and level of exercises to keep the learning experience fun and game-like.

Levels

All games come with two difficulty levels, which can be adjusted at any time to suit the child's pace. The first level is designed for children as young as three, or even younger with parental or educator assistance, and involves games that can be solved with the help of instructions. The second level presents a higher challenge, encouraging children to solve the games independently, always keeping the essence of fun in learning.

As guardians or educators, it's essential to ensure the difficulty level aligns with the child's capabilities, avoiding any undue pressure to complete or advance levels.

Achievements

The program allows for up to three profiles to be created, each tracking individual progress across levels, correct and incorrect answers, and overall performance represented by a percentage and fun fruit icons. These fruits serve as motivational tools, encouraging children to continue playing. Once collected, they can be given to little aliens in the game.

A new feature, **THE ALPHABET**, allows learners to listen and practice writing each letter of the alphabet, syllables, and words in various modes: trace, copy, and free mode, with choices between uppercase, lowercase, and handwriting.
