Grinding Gear Games, the developers, have been hard at work addressing various issues and introducing new features to ensure players have the best possible time exploring the dark and intricate world of Path of Exile 2.

Among the notable fixes, a bug that could cause players to lose access to the Cartwalker Machine when transferring a character from a solo league has been resolved. This ensures smoother transitions and uninterrupted gameplay. In local cooperative mode, several bugs have been squashed, including issues that previously allowed player 2 to unlock player 1's UI items, such as high-level maps. Additionally, another bug has been fixed, which previously prevented player 2 from moving quickly between control points, enhancing the cooperative experience.

The update also introduces up to five revival attempts in key areas, depending on the difficulty level. These areas include the Distorted Possessions, the battle with Olroth, the Source of the Fall, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm. In the Essence of Nonexistence, if you die before defeating the Host in The Mists, you'll be revived in the boss battle arena, and the fight will start anew, providing players with more chances to overcome challenging encounters.
