Fortnite Unveils Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season
Fortnite is set to embark on an epic journey with its next season, dubbed "Galactic Battle," launching on May 2, 2025. This season promises to immerse players in a full-blown Star Wars experience, complete with a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a thrilling five-part saga filled with surprises. One of the most talked-about additions is the arrival of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale, a twist that has fans buzzing with excitement.
The announcement was made during Star Wars Celebration, where attendees were treated to a glimpse of the upcoming Star Wars-themed content. Among the highlights is the introduction of Force Lightning as an in-game ability, promising to add a new layer of strategy and excitement to the gameplay.

The Battle Pass will feature iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups such as the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. The Item Shop will expand with offerings like Mace Windu, and players will have the opportunity to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will further enhance the immersive experience, transforming the Fortnite world into a Star Wars battleground.
The five-part saga, each week with a different overarching theme, will unfold as follows:

- Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
