According to sources cited by Deadline, these projects were never officially greenlit and, while they may still see the light of day, Marvel has shifted its focus elsewhere.

This strategic pivot comes as Marvel Studios gears up for the launch of the Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again. In a recent update, Marvel Studios' head of streaming and TV, Brad Winderbaum, discussed the potential for a reunion of street-level heroes from the Netflix series, including Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, collectively known as The Defenders.
