The latest update for *Palworld*, version 0.5.0, brings a host of exciting new features, headlined by the introduction of crossplay across all platforms. This update allows players to connect and play together seamlessly, regardless of their gaming system.

One of the standout features in this update is the Global Palbox, which lets players store Pal data and transfer Pals between different worlds. Additionally, the new Dimensional Pal Storage system offers an impressive 10 times the capacity of the regular Palbox. This storage can be accessed by guild members, and with private settings, it can also serve as personal storage.

Players can now enjoy the freedom to change their character's appearance without affecting armor stats thanks to the new Cosmetic Armour System, accessible via the Antique Dresser. The update also introduces a Photo Mode, allowing players to take stunning in-game screenshots by hiding the UI and freely moving the camera. Furthermore, the Drafting Table feature lets players combine low-rarity blueprints to create higher-rarity ones, enhancing the crafting experience.

Dedicated servers for Mac users are now available, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for those on Apple's platform. Developer Pocketpair has confirmed they are working on dedicated servers for the PlayStation 5, with a release planned for the future.

Since its early access launch in January 2024, *Palworld* has attracted an incredible 32 million players. Looking ahead, Pocketpair has outlined a content roadmap for 2025 that includes an "ending scenario" and more new content to keep the community engaged. The game initially launched on Steam for $30 and was also available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, setting new records for sales and concurrent players.

Pocketpair's CEO, Takuro Mizobe, acknowledged the overwhelming success of *Palworld*, stating that the studio was initially unprepared for the massive profits generated. In response, Pocketpair quickly moved to expand the IP by signing a deal with Sony to create Palworld Entertainment, which aims to further develop the game and bring it to the PS5.

However, the game's success has not been without challenges. *Palworld* faces a lawsuit from Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, who allege infringement on multiple patent rights. Pocketpair has responded by adjusting how players summon Pals and is prepared to defend its position in court.

・Buildings can now be placed even if they overlap with a Pal

・Adjusted the default attack used by Electric and Dark Pals when all active skills are on cooldown, making them more in line with the other elements
