Sandrock Android Beta Test Recruitment Now Open
Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock is making its way to mobile devices! The developers at Pathea Games are gearing up for an exclusive Android beta test, but there's a catch—it's only available in China for now. Initially launched on PC in 2023 as a sequel to the popular My Time at Portia from 2019, this game is brought to you by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment on Steam, while Conscience Studio will handle the mobile test in China.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first time My Time at Sandrock will be tested on mobile, serving as a technical trial to ensure the game's expansive world translates well to smaller screens. The developers are fine-tuning aspects such as resource loading and optimization, so participants should anticipate some initial hiccups.
The beta test is exclusive to Android users in China and will be conducted through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're in China, you can apply until January 22nd, and the test will commence on January 23rd. Keep in mind that your progress will be reset at the end of the test, but you'll have the chance to dive into a new adventure after completing the first 30 days of in-game content, which spans the first 13 chapters. Set in a post-apocalyptic desert world 300 years after the Day of Calamity, an event that obliterated modern technologies, My Time at Sandrock places you in the shoes of Sandrock's newest Builder.
