Throwing Rocks in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Guide

While it might not be as thrilling as direct combat, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* offers a robust stealth system that allows players to sneak past enemies. One of the key stealth tools at your disposal is rock throwing. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to master this technique.
How To Throw Rocks in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
It’s crucial to understand that you can only throw rocks while in stealth mode. To enter stealth mode, click the right stick on your controller or press C on your PC. Once in stealth, depending on your gaming platform, press and hold the following button to prepare to throw a rock:
- PlayStation: R1
- Xbox: RB
- PC: G
As you hold the button, Henry's right hand will appear on the screen, ready with a pebble. A small crosshair will also appear, indicating where your rock will land. Aim carefully, and when you're ready, release the button to throw the rock.

Tips and Tricks for Throwing Rocks in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
One of the greatest advantages of rock throwing is that rocks are unlimited. You won't need to waste time retrieving missed throws, giving you more opportunities to distract enemies.
Keep in mind that Henry throws small pebbles, resulting in a relatively small noise radius. Ensure your target is close to where you're aiming. Hitting objects like cups or plates can create a sharper, more noticeable sound.

When executed correctly, enemies will be drawn to investigate the noise, giving you a chance to either take them down stealthily or slip away unnoticed. Be cautious, though; hitting enemies directly with rocks will immediately alert them and cause a commotion.
Rocks are also useful for knocking down bird nests scattered throughout the game world. These nests often contain valuable items like eggs, which offer a small boost of nourishment, or even dice badges if you're lucky.
That covers everything you need to know about throwing rocks in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and guides, check out The Escapist's resources on topics like acquiring the best horse or selling stolen items, which can be essential for those continuing their stealthy adventures.
