Compatibility:

Piston supports OBD-II (OBD2, OBDII) and EOBD standards. OBD2 is mandated for US vehicles from 1996 onward. EOBD requirements in the EU began in 2001 for gasoline and 2004 for diesel vehicles. Australia and New Zealand adopted OBD2 in 2006 for gasoline and 2007 for diesel vehicles.
