SketchPad is the perfect companion for anyone looking to sketch, doodle, or simply scribble on the go. Let your imagination soar and unleash your creativity with SketchPad. Whether you want to draw, illustrate, sketch, doodle, or scribble, the choice is yours. The app is incredibly lightweight, with a download size of just 5 MB, making it easy to install and use.

SketchPad aims to provide a simple way to transform your screen into a canvas without any hassle. Unlike most other drawing apps, SketchPad keeps it clean and straightforward. It's just you and the canvas, ready to start your sketch almost immediately after installation. No setup is required; it's really that simple.

Features:

  • Simple UI
  • No Ads
  • No In-App Purchases
  • Customizable Brush Width with Instant Preview, perfect for bold strokes and fine details
  • Multiple ways to pick colors: Palette, Spectrum, and RGB Sliders
  • Unlimited Undo/Redo, because it's okay to make mistakes (still limited by device capabilities)
  • Optional Shake to Clear feature - just shake your device to clear the Canvas (requires accelerometer)
  • Export as PNG or JPEG image
  • Directly share images from SketchPad (automatically exports image to device)

The "Shake to Clear" feature is ideal for casual scribbling to pass the time, but it's not recommended for serious sketching on the bus due to potential sudden movements. However, it's great for quick sketches.

SketchPad is capable of working offline, ensuring you can create anytime, anywhere. However, sharing your sketches with others might require a network connection. The Storage permission is necessary only to save your sketches to your device, and rest assured, your precious files are not stolen.

Exported images are saved to "/Pictures/SketchPad/" by default. You can change the storage path to a directory of your choice in Settings to suit your needs. Saving sketches to "/DCIM/Camera/" should make them appear in most Gallery apps. On Android 10 and later, due to changes in storage management, all pictures are saved to "/Android/data/com.kanishka_developer.SketchPad/files/Pictures", regardless of the setting.

The focus of the SketchPad Project has always been on enhancing the User Experience. We value your feedback, so feel free to share your thoughts or just say "hi" in the Kaffeine Community Discord server at https://discord.gg/dBDfUQk or email me at [email protected].
