Warframe: 1999 – Arriving Winter 2024

Warframe: 1999, showcased via a gameplay demo, offers a significant departure from the series' established sci-fi setting. The expansion transports players to Höllvania, a city overrun by the Infestation, where they control Arthur Nightingale and his Protoframe – a precursor to the familiar Warframes. The demo featured thrilling action sequences, including Arthur's Atomicycle, battles against proto-infested enemies, and a surprising encounter with a 1990s boy band. The accompanying soundtrack is available on the Warframe YouTube channel. The game launches on all platforms this winter.

The Hex, Arthur's team, comprises six members, each with unique roles. Players will encounter Ancestors, powerful spirits offering unique gameplay benefits, such as Verminia, the Rat Witch, who aids in crafting and cosmetic upgrades. Formidable enemies, including Nimrod and Bromius, also await. Soulframe is currently in a closed alpha phase (Soulframe Preludes) with wider access planned for this Fall.
